"When they lost Sunday's Game 4 to the Celtics by 22 points at the Garden, the Atlanta Hawks had their pride wounded.
So the Hawks came back out with a bigger lineup, tore the Celtics apart in the paint thanks to the surging work of Al Horford, and withstood repeated charges by the visitors at Philips Arena.
The result: The Hawks won, 87-86, and the C's lead in the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series was cut to 3-2, with Game 6 scheduled for Thursday night at the Garden.
The Celtics dropped this one despite leading by a point with 7:16 left, 74-73, and tying the game at 83-83 on a Ray Allen 3-pointer with 2:41 left."
