My name is Bradley Jay and I host the Jay Talking radio show which airs every Sunday evening at 10pm on WBZ NewsRadio 1030. Consider this:
I hear lots of talk about how bad the economy is but, here in Boston, it sure doesn’t look like that bad?
When I walk the streets of Boston I see new construction, fancy cars, and packed restaurant’s. It looks to me like things are pretty good.
Is it possible that instead of actually falling on hard times, we have become spoiled and redefined “tough times”? Does not being able to upgrade to a 90 inch TV qualify as tough times? Does having to go to a state university qualify as tough times? Is having to forgo the the new smart phone really the end of the world?
Get a grip. Things are not that bad. Take a look around the world at places that really have problems and be thankful you are where you are. We should be giddy at the lifestyles most of us are able to lead.
And if you are not as well off as you expected to be, based on earlier economic bubbles, then you have unrealistic expectations.
Hey, life is tough. Get a helmet.
