BOSTON (CBS) – The gun control debate has been raging across the country since the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary, but the conversation is often dominated by male voices. Tonight, Marisa DeFranco and Adriana Cohen sit down with Dan to talk about their perspectives on the issue. We all agree that we must do what we can to curb violent crime and unnecessary loss of life, but there are different views on how to best accomplish that goal. To solve common problems, we need common solutions, and that starts with honest and open conversation. As the discussion moves along, Dan and the ladies will address peripheral issues as well, such as violence in the media, violent video games, toy guns, and guns in schools.
