BOSTON (CBS) ? Gas prices are now up 31 cents in the last month in Massachusetts.

That?s according to the latest survey from AAA Southern New England.

The average price for a gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded is currently $3.72 in Massachusetts, up four cents from last week.

However, it?s now below the national average by just one cent.

?We are typically above the national average in Massachusetts,? AAA spokeswoman Mary Maguire told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Monday.
