WBZ-TV - Breaking News, Weather and Sports for Boston, Worcester and New Hampshire found this 4 months ago on boston.cbslocal.com

BOSTON (CBS) – Police are investigating two shootings involving pellet guns over 24 hours.

The first shooting took place shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday when an MBTA bus driver reported to Transit Police he was shot at.

The driver said he was driving in the area of Washington Street and Arboretum Road in Roslindale with two passengers in his bus when he noticed two people standing in a driveway, holding a firearm.

After an investigation, police found that the two passenger side windows were fractured by an air-powered pellet gun. No one was injured in the shooting, police said.

On Sunday around 1:45 p.m., a woman reported she was struck in the face with something she believed was a BB pellet in the area of Saturday night’s shooting.

There is no word on the woman’s injuries.

Boston Police are investigating whether the two incidents could be related.

Boston and Transit Police detectives are currently investigating the incidents and urge anyone with information to contact them at 617-222-1212 or via our MBTA SeeSay app.
