PLAISTOW, NH (CBS) – A woman and her boyfriend are on the run after police say they beat and burned the woman’s three-year-old son.

Plaistow Police are looking for 23-year-old Jessica Linscott and 27-year-old Roland Dow.

Investigators believe they attacked the child at their Main Street home last week, dropped the child off at Exeter Hospital and then took off. Arrest warrants were issued for the couple last Friday.

The child had second degree burns and bruises all over his body. Jessica told police that the injuries were self inflicted.

The child has since been transferred to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Children?s Unit in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Dow is not the father of the child and family members are concerned that Jessica could be in danger.
