HAVERHILL (CBS) ? A mortar shell was found in a home on Greenlawn Ave. in Haverhill Monday afternoon.

The State Police Bomb Squad is responding and the immediate area around the home was evacuated.

Haverhill Police and Fire could not determine whether the mortar shell was live or not. The mortar was found when someone was cleaning the home.
